Kasie Johnson

Kasie Johnson has been a member of the MMT board since the summer of 2018. She performed in MMT’s production of Chicago, and she performed in and choreographed Crazy for You and Xanadu. She was co-director and choreographer for Matilda. Kasie has owned and operated Legacy Studio of Dance in Aurora since 2014. She began dancing at Debby’s Dance Studio in Biwabik when she was four and has toured with the Dance Olympus Convention and trained with the Minnesota Ballet. Her studio produces The Nutcracker and a spring recital annually, and her competition team has won multiple awards.  Kasie lives in Hoyt Lakes with her husband Demetri (also a dancer who teaches at the studio), where they spend most of their free time watching dance videos and planning future dances and shows.
