Mesabi Musical Theatre's History

Mesabi Musical Theatre (MMT) has been entertaining Iron Range audiences for over 15 years. Its first production, Guys and Dolls, was performed at Eveleth-Gilbert High School in 2002. The original mission of MMT was to provide opportunities for Range-wide high school students to participate in musical theater. Since then, MMT has produced 12 more musicals and has expanded to include cast and crew members of all ages from across the Iron Range.

MMT took a break from 2012 to 2014 to restructure the group into a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Mesabi Musical Theatre continues to live out its mission to "bring the best of Broadway to the Iron Range."
