Tucker Nelson
Tucker Nelson became a member-at-large on the MMT Board in August 2016 and was elected Secretary in October 2018. He became the Artistic Director in August 2019. He has been involved with every MMT show since helping backstage during The Sound of Music in 2010. He was recently the Assistant Stage Manager for Matilda in August 2019 and the director of A Cornucopia of Song and Dance in November 2022. Tucker also acted in eight plays at Eveleth-Gilbert Senior High and in three musicals at Virginia High School.
Tucker lives in Virginia with his wife, stepson, and cats. He is the community engagement coordinator for North St. Louis County Habitat for Humanity. He is also a longtime contributor to (and the former editor of) Hometown Focus and has been the MC for the Minnesota State Old Time Fiddle Championship since 2012.
